HOW CAN YOU STEP UP?
There are three different ways in which you can become a part of StepUP Pakistan.
Level 1: Become a Member
This is the most basic level of recruitment into StepUP Pakistan. Membership is open to absolutely everyone and is absolutely free. To become a member, all you have to do is sign up [here] by filling in this very simple form.

By becoming a member, you symbolically support StepUP Pakistan and its cause. You do not however, get to work for any of our projects. For that, you would have to move up to Level 2.
Level 2: Become a Volunteer
Once you have become a member of StepUP Pakistan by signing up [here], you are now eligible to be a volunteer.
But before you can volunteer to be a part of any project, you need to choose a Project that you would like to work for. You can find a list of Projects currently operating under StepUP Pakistan [here] and pick one that interests you the most.
Once you have determined which Project you would like to work for and why, all you need to do is fill this Volunteer form [here]. Make sure you fill in all required sections, especially the one where we ask you for a personal statement. This personal statement is what helps us separate out the best from the rest and can dramatically increase your chances of getting promoted from a Volunteer to a Project Leader or even a Core Team Member!
Once you have submitted your application, you will be e-mailed a date and time for a Skype meeting. At this particular time, you will be contacted by a Recruitment Officer from StepUP Pakistan who will discuss your role in your chosen Project. Depending on your availability and skills, you will be assigned a a rank and responsibilities.
While deciding whether you want to apply to be a Volunteer or not, please keep the following things in mind:
- Volunteers are usually required to interact with their Project Leaders and work in collaboration with other volunteers via Skype.
- Volunteers are assigned tasks by the Project Leaders, which they are required to complete within a given amount of time.
- Failure to complete given tasks may result in removal from the post.
- Failure to follow the rules as described by the StepUP Pakistan Constitution will result in the cancellation of your membership and a life-time ban from the organization.
Level 3: Become an Office Bearer
Office Bearers represent the highest level of recruitment into the organization. Core Team Directors, Project Leaders and The Executive Director are some instances of Office Bearers.
Whenever the need arises to recruit a new Office Bearer or to replace an old one, we provide information about the vacancy on our Facebook page i.e https:/www.facebook.com. Anyone who is interested in volunteering for the role can fill in and submit the online Office Bearer Application Form [here].
The proper and careful filling of this form is extremely important because only properly filled forms are further processed.
After the deadline for sending Applications expires, the StepUP recruitment staff carefully scrutinizes each application and separates out the best ones.
These applicants are then contacted through e-mail and a Skype meeting is scheduled so that the Recruitment Staff can get to know more about the skills and aptitude of each applicant.
After holding online meetings with each of the selected applicants, the best ones are chosen on the basis of merit and they are handed over the responsibility of the particular office.
The other top applicants are usually given other posts based on their skills and aptitude.
